Aims and Scope
Ekonomika is a scientific journal, published by the Society of Economists Ekonomika, Nis.
The journal publishes the results of theoretically, methodologically, and applicatively valid research conducted in relevant areas of economics, business economics, and management.
Focusing on creative conceptualization and management of the growing complex and diverse phenomena, issues, and problems inherent to economics and management, the journal enables authors to publish double-blind reviewed manuscripts, containing previously unpublished results of scientifically grounded, practically useful, and socially responsible research projects, conducted in key spheres of economics and management.
The intended audience comprises academic community, researchers, problem-solvers, and decision-makers, who perform their activities in the following areas: macroeconomics, monetary and public finances, banking, financial markets, management, marketing, accounting, business finances, management information systems, and other related areas which foster relevant multi- and interdisciplinary research.
The new editorial policy implies a continuous enhancement of the journal quality. In accordance with this, relevance in theoretical, methodological, and applicative sense, impact, originality and clarity are the decisively important criteria for selecting the papers for publishing and their classifying. The journal is being published four times a year, in Serbian and English, in print and electronic form.
The journal has been categorized as a leading scientific journal of national significance on the list of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia
